When loading a large file the screen will go totally white and lock up. watching the task manager I can see the memory usage climb to >3000MB then all of a sudden it drops to ~100MB and nothing works. I am trying to do a finishing pass that has 4 million lines. Is there a fix for this?

Troubleshooting > Application Diagnostics > disable 3D viewer (saving a lot of RAM)

Or try bCNC, UGS, CncJS, and many other Grbl hosts

if you are generating your gcode from Fusion, turn on smoothing for that toolpath so that it generates fewer lines of gcode.

Yes I use fusion. Unfortunately this did not solve my issue.

yes it brought the file size from ~77MB to ~34MB. I think its just to much for my computer to handle. I tried one elsewhere with more RAM and it would load in and I even simulated the run. Ill work on a better computer for my control setup. Thanks for all the help.
