I am using an openbuilds ACRO 1010 with lightburn software.
Everything has been working flawless till now.
Today I went to install a Z axis drive. I have it wired but laying on the bench till I get everything sorted out.
I enabled Z axis in the lightburn software. It will follow up/down commands properly from lightburn.
How ever, it does not respond to a Homing command, (the other 2 axis are fine)
    I am running GRBL 1.1f.
I have set $132=50 for the stroke of the Z axis.
Any thoughts? Lightburn thinks it is a GRBL issue.

Our ACRO grbl has Z homing disabled. Once you install a Z axis, its not an "acro" 2 axis anymore, so install default Grbl again.

On the Acro firmware we did this: gnea/grbl for you

    Peter thank you.
Guess I'll have to find someone who can make changes and recompile the file.

Nope, the version you have, already has the changes (thats why Z doesnt home i suspect). To undo it just flash the precompiled, stock, standard Grbl (no compiles needed): from github.com/gnea/grbl/release

    Or easier:
If you are using openBuilds control -> Troubleshooting Tab -> Grbl Flashing Tool -> Select Grbl 1.1f under Default Grbl:

NB select the XPRO as controller!

    flash grbl.png

Peter I got it, thank you.
I was thinking ALL GRBL releases had this set NOT to home the Z axis.
I had loaded the GRBL 1.1g.
Reloaded 1.1f, all works great now thank you.
Use the open builds control panel to do it.
