My OB controller software reverts to the older version and wants to update about every other time i use it. I would just disable updates, but i prefer the manual jogging in the newer version.

How do i get the update to srick?

Uninstall the old corrupted install, cleanup the install location. Reboot. Then install from fresh :)

I have tried that, uninstalled it then redownloaded and installed. A week later the old version came back to haunt me.

Include the other two steps too: Cleanup the install location (the path is shown during the install) and also reboot before installing. Windows has a way of keeping stuff around when it gets corrupted, not a CONTROL issue, just standard Windows troubles.

During the cleanup also make sure you didn't install two copies, like one "for everyone" and a different version for "only me" - then files would be installed under both Program Files, and your local user profile
