Building an XY table for what you seek is fairly simple. (Making sure it meets FDA/NSF guidelines may be another issue.) Do you have any conceptual sketches of what you're trying to accomplish?
Fairly simple plan. I take two 12 pot muffin pans and place them in a fix position. The pan can sit in a fix position and continually index to 12 positions then shift to next pan and and index those positions. It would then start the same cycle. The operator would swap out the fully pan while the next one is being filled. As long as the stainless steel table top covers the drives, etc. I should be USDA compliant.
