Hey Everybody. I am sorry I am so late to the game. I have been looking at getting a large format laser cutter and fell on this awesome build. I am wondering if this is a build that I could do as a newbie and also if there is an updated version. I'm sorry I am not sure of the etiquette about posting questions like this so I figured I would start here. Any help or direction would be amazing. Thank you.

Hey man this build is awesome i will definitely be building one?

A quick Q, will the standard V-wheels also work?
i have a ton of them, or is there any changes i should make to the carriage files?

I was wondering the same but no they wont work, you need to change the spacing between the holes because full size wheels are bigger

However, i found this: PARAMETRIC x/y axis Motor Mount Plate for Openbuilds V-Slot 20mm (Delrin V wheels) by bekindr

wonderful! it‘s a nice design,i think it can be made by laser cut board only, nor 3d printer part。that can be build faster。 3d print is too slow。。
