I'm planning on building a custom 3d printer for myself.
I'm good at the mechanical side of things, but near clueless on software.
I'm looking for an easy to work with motherboard with a strong community behind it, because I can't code and barely understand flashing.

I'm going to build a high precision coreXY printer with linier rails, ball screws instead of lead screws for the Z, and 9mm belts for added rigidity.

    Suggestions?

    Hi

I am far from being an expert, but, I am finding enough information for the MKS Gen V1.4 so I am able to make (slow) progress.

Edward Braiman's videos are pretty useful for this board. He also has an Equipment Corner playlist of videos. The first one is selecting a board for beginners. Depending on other responses, I suspect his recommendations would be pretty good.
