Im building a small cnc and am new to grbl settings. The lead screws all seem to be metric but my G codes are inch. Can anyone help be with and how this should be changed. Thanks

Grbl automatically handles that. Your GCODE will (or should) contain G20/G21 commands in the header to tell Grbl what to expect
Leadscrew pitch is calibrated in steps-per-mm (OpenBuildsCONTROL > Wizards and tools > Calibration makes it easy for you! No Math needed)
