I have a new Vevor S4040 with a 400 x 400 workspace CNC. Just got it and in Gsender I clicked the Flash button...bad idea...everything went very bad. Learned about the $ codes and set them up best I could. Everything is working except for the size of things I'm trying to carve, or even move the spindle. The distance is WAY off. I clicked on jog 20mm and it went 80.12mm. A one inch circle came out 3.154 inches. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? New at this and not very good at it. Help!

Recalibrate your steps per mm (about 25% of current values, 20/80=1/4=0.25x) : Grbl v1.1 Configuration

I just saw a video that showed me that I multiply "Steps per minute" x Expected Travel Distance then divide it by the Actual Travel Distance. It worked exact. But now the spindle moves SOOOO slow. Any idea how to fix that?

    1) Read the rest of the Grbl Wiki :) its really in there
    2) apply your new knowledge on Max Rates
