    building one of these for a friend. We used 2040 doubled up for the X since that is what we had on hand from a slightly modified Tevo 3d printer we used for donating all the parts. The printer had linear rail on all axis's so X and Y gantry plates needed to be modified slightly to adjust for the blocks which each axis has two of. We are using acrylic for the plates with the idea that we can bootstrap the build to aluminum parts. One thing missing is the blocks used for spacer's on the Z. I used the Z plate to create 3d printed spacer's with the correct hole spacing. I think I have the correct height of the spacer at 12.5mm. Nowhere I can find has the correct sizing of that spacer.
