I have a workbee 1510, it is belt driven on the X and Y Axis.
The belt for my X-axis will not stay tight. I will pull it tight on both sides of the machine, screw it down as tight as I can. As soon as I jog the machine along the X-axis the belts are pulled loose form the belt tensioners and the machine will not move.

    Help please

Hi Ryan, you are using the "track nut and set screw" setup to clamp the belt down?
Some people have put a thin strip of metal or plastic like a strip of hotel door key under the set screw to keep it from cutting into the belt and loosening up.
    Cheers
    Gary

Does the carriage move easily? Or is it binding, and thus unduly putting too much force on the belt? (fix the binding first if thats the case)
