BlackBox 4X : flash the 2-axes firmware from. Wizards and Tools > Firmware flashing tool

BlackBox X32: define your homing sequences in Grbl Settings

    $44=3 ; Home XY together
    $45=0 ; Disable Z axis Homing

You need to complete a successful flash. Try again

I keep getting the FLASH FAILED error.I tried it at least 10 times. It was working perfectly til i tried to flash the controllet to 2axis machine without z homing.
When i click on the flash button i see the usb logo on the blackbox is blinking. And then stops and i get the error message.

Did anything happen like unplugging USB before it was done? Could have wiped the Bootloader? (You'll need a $3 USBTinyISP off Amazon to reflash the bootloader)

The usb was not unpluged during the flash.

    1) Grab a USBtinyISP from Amazon or similar
    2) Plug it into the ICSP port
    3) Arduino IDE > Uno > Flash Bootloader

Same as this, but BlackBox instead of the Arduino (Open top cover of the BlackBox to find the ISCP pins)

You sure there're no wiring shorts that could have damaged the BlackBox - same symptoms, might just be coincidence around the time of flashing
