Don't know how this will affect the swarfer processor, but I can no longer post process more than one tool, so that's hours of work down the drain "automating" manual tool changes and Z probing (with lots of help from people here).

yep, that is one of the restrictions.
for SketchuCam I made a 'joiner' tool that would join multiple nc files together to run as one.
the catch here is that there is no Tx M6 command in the Fusion files, nevertheless a joiner could be constructed that inserts tool macros as needed.

I wasn't using M6 - inserted macro calls to allow tool change and Z probing. I guess I could add the macro s to the end of every file and then join them, but having the post processor do it was neater.

so if one were to wander over to
    OpenBuilds/OpenBuilds-Fusion360-Postprocessor
and click the green 'Code' button then select 'download zip' and put the OpenbuildsFusion360PostGrbl.cps file
where Fusion can find it, one might be pleased at the results.

This fixes the long comment thing and inserts most of the missing rapids too.

I tested it by cutting the Fusion 'F' keyfob in foam (for the 3D toolpaths) and another simple object with just 2D cuts and am happy.

Someone with a laser needs to test the laser code, please, my laser is still a 'project in progress' (or limbo...)

Someone with a Fusion license or Education licence please test it too, output should be almost identacle to what it did in V1.0.18

If testing is successful please tell me.
If testing is a disaster please tell me.

Thank you for the update! I just wandered over there, David. :)

What I noticed on a Workbee with the BlackBox:
    1. Lots of G0 moves in the g-code. Cool!
    2. Long comment is addressed by splitting with open/close brackets each line. BTW. Where the heck does this comment originate from?
    3. Had to manually separate and post operations with different tools (no surprise here).
    4. My file extensions were .nc and now they are .gcode by default. This is settable in the Post Processor window. Not sure why I had them different before...
    5. Check size and trial "air" cuts appeared to execute properly.
So unless there is something obscure that I'm not seeing in a trial air cut, testing was successful for me.

David. FYI. It appears AutoDesk has addressed the long comment issue in version V.2.0.9011

    Good morning,

Is this post processor still working on today's fusion 360?
I'm new to the milling part but have had 3d printer since long back.

Just bought a small Chinese cnc and its have come upon this restriction in fusion with movement.

I also get WCS error, I should change something but I can't really figure out what.

unless they have changed something in the 3 weeks since I last used Fusion, yes
our post puts most of the missing G0 moves back in
    right click the setup.
select the middle tab (if memory serves)
    set the WCS to 1

I've tried FreeCAD and hated it - it seems very buggy and not well thought through. TBH, I was pretty disappointed it wasn't up the the Quality of other OS tools I use like KiCad.

I've just decided I get enough value from a Fusion 360 subscription and ponied up the money. Im just a hobbyist, but I use it for 3D Printing and now CNC so it's worth it IMO.
