    Hello!

Is there avaiable a Z module with square linear bearing? I know only one source and they are from USA (Im from Europe) and the set itself costs like 300 USD and Im looking for maybe a cheaper option.

I just want my Z to be stiffer and more rigid, have some problems with the wheels.

Maybe there are blueprints to do it by myself?

You can buy the rails for like $50 a set on eBay. The rest is just mounting them. Admittedly, that's not the easiest job in the world, but if you mount them to a piece of 8020 V-slot at least some of the work is partially done for you- and short pieces are easier to deal with. The bearings in the carraiges are highly preloaded, so alignment is fairly critical and has to be done all the way along the length, with shims, a test indicator, etc. Otherwise you'll prematurely wear them and lose all the stiffness and accuracy advantages.
