    Hello everyone -
I’m in the process of adding the high Z mod on my Lead 1515. The final part is to replace the smaller front z axis c-beam with the 500 mm. I’m not sure of the best placement of the 500mm.
    Appreciate any feedback!

Placement largely depends on what you use the machine for, and what kind of bits you use, how tall the stock is. In fact you might often adjust that position from time to time to work on different jobs. Set it such, that the router with your typical bit and stock setup can reach the spoilboard

    Makes perfectly good sense!
An outstanding addition to an already superb machine.
