    Hi,

I have a lead 1010 and want to extend the Y axis to be 1500mm. I know I need 2 pieces of 1500mm C-Beam, 2 1540 lead screws, some 1500mm extrusion brace pieces, and a new wasteboard. Is there anything else I need that I am not considering? Is there any setup necessary in the Black Box motion controller to accommodate this?

You would also need the thinner endplates (that work with the tension system), thrust bearings, tension nuts, flange bearings, etc. A 1500mm leadscrew needs to be tensioned to counteract whipping.

See C-Beam® Tension XL Linear Actuator Bundle (Could also check out the complete actuator, but will leave you with an extra XL plate)

Also check under your spoilboard, you may need to add/lengthen bracing underneath depending

CONTROL > Grbl Settings > Scroll down to Max Travel Y > Add 500mm to current value
