Wondering if anyone is using a Jtech laser with either Lightburn, picengrave pro or pic laser and using the Openbuilds as the control?

All the applications mentioned largely are irrelevant of which laser you use. The key is to setup Grbl's Laser Mode: gnea/grbl

Is that what JTech's post processor does when used with Vcarve?

Best to ask JTech themselves on that one, but I would assume so. If they arent using Laser Mode it would be shocking, that's been the right way since Grbl 1.1s release Dec 2016 already
(G0 moves = laser off, G1/2/3 moves = laser on)
