I have the interface up an running but it does not recognize my USB Drive.

I have the wireless connected and have update both Control and Interface Firmware to the latest version but the bottom left of Interface show "no usb drive." The Drive light on Interface is also not illuminated. I have formatted two different drives (including the one that came with Interface) with FAT32 and prepped them using the wizard in Control. I have checked the USB port on Interface and it does not appear to have any buildup pr foreign particles in it. Everything else seems to work fine outside of I can't get it to recognize any USB drive. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to "pinch" the usb to make it fit more snug, but it still does not detect any USB drive that I connect. It does fit noticeably tighter but does not register on Interface. I have tried 3 different drives, all formatted FAT32, all prepped through the Control wizard, none register on Interface. The drives I have tried:
1 - OEM drive that came with Interface
    2 - Sandisk 15 GB
    3 - PNY 256 GB

Exact same issue and circumstances for me today when I tried to use. Sent message via contact form, but wanted to capture here as well in case there may be something broader to learn here.

I had the same issue yesterday. I inserted the Drive into my laptop to make sure there wasn't something wrong with the drive, all was OK. Placed it back into the Interface and worked since.

Also want to note that before I was not connected to WiFi. when I put it back in after the laptop, I was connected to WiFi. Just info.

I've had the same USB issue with mine among other issues. Still waiting on a response back from support. The USB worked the first time I plugged it in but after that the interface will no longer recognize it.

    Hello,

Can I add my name here too. Used the interface for the first time today. First cut worked perfectly with the supplied USB. Now nothing wants to connect. Have tried to squish the end of the USB as Peter suggested, have used Verbatim formatting software... nothing yet the device recognises the USB is plugged in because the USB power led is on.

I have the same problem. Was working fine. Connected to the interface through wifi browser interface now the USB light is always on and it boots and NO USB and does not see the USB drive. I am going to try to format again with the USB Formatting tool and see what happens.

I want to add, when the temp in my shop is below 45 degrees F, the drive is not recognized on first boot up. I have to reboot the black box and then it is recognized.

I now get my heat going first and wait until the temp is above 45 to turn on the machine.

Not very common, the store will run through Troubleshooting with you to find the cause. Thanks

Seems to work when it is warm... Very sensitive to cold I guess.

Would be interesting to see what the data sheet says for the interface chip operating temp. Could be the drive itself I guess too. I haven't tried bringing the drive in to stay warm.
