    Hello,

    I am working on a project where we want to use the Linear Actuator kit (Belt version: V-Slot® NEMA 23 Linear Actuator (Belt Driven) Bundle). The max speed that it can reach is ~12000 mm/min according to the website.

    What can I do to increase this speed? Will a different NEMA23 motor help?

    I found this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/8HEaP80D8XY In that video it looks like it moves way quicker. Is this speed possible with the standard kit?

    Thanks in advance!
    Stan

    That video is stock, so if you want that, you don't need anything else

    12 meters = 39 feet - every minute (;

    Thanks for your response!

    12 metres per minute is only 20cm per second, is there a way to reach 50-100cm per second?

    Possible ideas:

    - Different motor
    - Different pulleys

    Would probably need to go with servo motors for that speed, with any hope of precision.
