I received my 1.5k 220v Jiang spindle today and am in the process of trying to understand the setup .
Could someone that has experience with this pump help me understand how this 2 prong 115v connector
    works/connects with 220v

I cannot wrap my mind around how his works .
    Thank you in advance

You don't. You will have to cut the plug and and replace if with an appropriate type for your 220V receptacle (if you don't have one, well make sure you pair the receptacle and plug types)

Thank you for the reply .
Cutting the plug off and replacing will not solve the issue of no earth .
Two prong plugs are not up to standard for safety .
I will be swapping the pump out for one that is safe to North American standards.

2 prong with no earth is safe and to code if its a plastic body pump. Google "double insulated no earth"
That said, buying a decent pump won't be a bad thing - might even give actual pressure (some of the included pumps with VFD spindles look like fountain pumps with a custom fitting)

Thank you for your insightful reply Peter .
I have been researching to find fail safe way of wiring this VFD-spindle and coolant pump.
In doing so I have not yet found an a-z or step by step example, guide or tutorial
.I do have a 3 wire 220v outlet that I use for my welder which can double for the vfd .
I am thinking on using this to switch the vfd on and off and one of these at the spindle for
    safe tool changing .

Do a Search in the Top Right corner of this page for VFD and or Spindle.
Quite a bit of information in there.
