Just powered up my Balckbox32 for the first time
I think I have destroyed it
My machine is a home buitl unit I have run with an old controller under Mach3 and it moved OK
When I first powered up the unit and tried to jog the motors they grumbled and did not move
I then changed the jumpers to 1/16 steps as I used in Mach3
Now nothing happens when I try to jog and there is no connection to the motors I can turn them by hand
The power switch no longer works I have to power the unit down from the power supply
    My motors are high torque Nema 23 on X & Y & Y2 and regular on Z

Any one have any idease for me please

Prior to reading the following, did you use a power supply greater than 24V? If so, you probably did destroy it. If not, read on.

First, confirm it is wired properly. It sounds like your motors are not.

    docs:blackbox-x32:faq-identify-motor-coils [OpenBuilds Documentation]

Then, ensure you have hooked everything up as per the instructions:
    docs:blackbox-x32:start [OpenBuilds Documentation]

Then you need to load a profile into the Blackbox from Control and flash that firmware version. Pick a profile that is close to yours and just manually change the GRBL settings that apply to your working dimensions. If you do not know what those are, here is the GRBL Wiki with everything you need to know. Grbl v1.1 Configuration

Connect, choose Firmware Flashing Tool from Wizards and Tools

Then choose what version you need. Ignore the "arduino Uno" above and below. I just plugged one in to my computer so I could take these screen shots.

Usb provides 5V power as well. 24v power is on the switch. If you want it off off. Turn off the PC /unplug USB too
