Anybody know what may have caused this or how to prevent it in the future. It happened a few times, in the middle of running and operation, without any obvious reason. error 9 - G code locked out during alarm or job state. [X63.93 57]
Do you have a vfd/spindle? If so where have you put the cables? Vfd's & spindles create tons of emi (interference). Keep the vfd away from the controller and the cabling between the vfd and spindle away from all other cables - especially don't put it in the drag chain parallel to the limit switch wiring. Oh, and shielded cables don't always solve the problem - physical distance is best. Alex.
