Hello, I am a new user of the Open builds controller. I am using it with a Millright Mega V and when i try to change and save new firmware settings i am getting an error about not having $103. I am not sure how to add it so that i can save changes. (additional side question) What do i need to do to change the jog speed. No firmware settings or jog settings seem to let me change how fast the jog or G53 commands go. Thanks for your help!
I was previously using Universal G code sender and it has a 103 setting because it has the option for a 4th axis. Any idea to get rid of it?
Yeah, CONTROL or bCNC are generally the most-used around here. CONTROL gets you direct support from Peter, but currently lacks things like G53 DRO, M6 toolchange, etc. If you just use basic features on simple one-shot runs anyway, it seems pretty nice. Otherwise, bCNC seems to be the most viable alternative.
