    1st of all i would like to thanks to you for posted a vid about eliminating the lead screw whip
    I try to same just like in your vid and the result is very effective and my workbee is more precise before this..
    Please share more vid if you have any thought on increasing workbee perfomance again sir..

    Thank you for the great video. Other than the modification to the locking collar on the for the lead screw are there any additional parts needed to make this modification?

    Could you not just put a locknut on it once you flip the plates?

    That is not a standard acme or metric thread that you can purchase at the hardware store, so it's very unlikely. With the amount of movement on that screw, a lock not is not going to stay in place either. Openbuilds now sell tension nuts though. There may even be one on thingiverse. Since this video, I believe both those suppliers now offer longer lead screws to facilitate tensioning the lead screw.
