hey, i am new to this website and is little confused on what category of forum my question fits. so i was making a diy 3 axis cnc miller and was thinking if grbl shield for arduino is the right choice ! i mean is it capable of performing milling ? And can i run a generic grbl code on it?
yes, it can mill, yes, generic Gcode is what it likes. you can generate the gcode with Sketchup+SketchUcam plugin, or Fusion, or Vectric Aspire, or Estlecam, or mnay other CAM systems.
