I was watching Tested on youtube tonight and saw this camera rig Industrial Lights and Magic uses for filming The Mandalorian's Razor Crest Motion-Controlled Miniature. They had to build their own due to budgetary reasons so they turned to the hobbyist and opensource communities. He calls it 8020 as a generic term, but you can see the V-wheel kits.
