c beam motor endplate

    Not sure where to post this. There is a recess on the interior/ threaded rod side of the plate. What is that for? is it left over from a compression set up, vs what seems to be the newer tension? Please direct me to the proper thread if this is not it, or any ideas would be helpful.

    Thats for a bearing with the compression system

    The Tension system uses a thinner endplate and a Flange bearing.
