Sketches are almost finished for new machine.. Double checking and trying to compact it in Fusion 360.. I plan to call it GTC 2020.

Next will be preparing a parts list, calculating cost, design the control box, buy parts and build the machine.. Will be a good year hopefully! :)

    Hi Gino,

I'd like to build a machine like this and could really use some help on the measurements for the Gantry plates. Could you tell me how they measure?

    Hi DHosslerLanp,

All plates are available in multiple downloadable formats. The links should be somewhere in the build

Here they are once again for you:

    X-Plate-Back: https://a360.co/301Bsew
    X-Plate-Front: Fusion
    Y-Gantry: Fusion
    Z-PLate: http://a360.co/2gaIaIn

Hope this helps. Best of luck with your build...

Thank you for the reply. I was able to get the measurements from fusion but when I sent them to my local CNC shop he came back and said that the plate was .6 inches thick instead of 6 mm.

Are the measurements in these pictures correct? In mm? BF545AF4-65D7-4259-B6AD-22597F235E8A.png 40241B2C-3B21-4DEB-BB5F-123F629634ED.png B1B20C9E-D22C-4584-AA4F-2388581FFEB2.png

    Please refer to below drawings..

    x-plate-back
    Fusion

    x-plate-front
    Fusion

    y-gantry
    https://a360.co/307TFHp

    z-plate
    https://a360.co/2T5kuKX

Hope this helps. Please double check them all before proceeding. The thickness is 6 mm in my all files.. That must be a conversion problem maybe? (I never use imperial)

Hey! This build looks mint! Waiting the post with the parts lists. For me, this is the perfect machine; looks stiff, screw driven...
