blackbox just grinding and making noise

    hello everyone! i got a new black box. built it, hooked it up, openbuilds control, software seems fine, but when i turn it on the steppers have a loud hum and vibrate. if i try to jog it makes a lot of noise but no movement

    Sounds like a wiring issue. Double check your pairs.

    If you're certain that the wiring is correct, please provide us with more information. What motors?

    had to learn some chinese color characters, because of the stepper choices. it was the wiring. they used the same colors but exactly backwards to openbuilds steppers. running good now. thank you guys for fast response! on the bright side now i know some chinese lol
