This challenge is yet to be resolved. My observation was that the ftdi driver is missing on the Grbl control as well as window 10 device manager. I tried reinstalling the driver and rebooting, yet the ftdi driver cannot be found. Please help

    1) unplug all but USB cable from the blackbox (disconnect power, motors, limits, probe and toolhead etc)
    2) test again

Miswiring often can cause shorts. This is a quick test to see if thats the case

    So from your other thread:

Leave everything disconnected, only USB. Then connect USB to PC. Check Device Manager.

Next if it still does not show up, try another USB cable

If that doesn't help, try a different PC

Of course also check that you did follow all the steps in the documentation OpenBuilds BlackBox 4X Documentation

Compare your wiring and settings to those shown on docs.openbuilds.com under the relevant limit switches section

I assume you have the regular switches: OpenBuilds BlackBox 4X Documentation

2 wires only, check $5=1 and wire as shown

Or upgrade to Xtension Limit Switch Kit

    HI @Peter Van Der Walt.

Once again, thank you for your help and support.
I am able to connect and jog my 1515 build now but none of the limit switches work. I have double checked the connection based on the supplied documentation. Please what should I do next?

In addition to that I need wiring recommendations for Chinese 1.2kw 220v water cooled spindle. Regards

    Check grbl settings: $5, $20, $21 etc
    Github.com/gnea/grbl/wiki explains it all
