I am still working on upgrading my OX cnc from belt to lead screw. My question is do I need anti backlash nuts on my X and Y axis? I am putting one on my Z axis because it does drift down when the machine is powered off.

You don't "need" them but they are always a nice upgrade to dial out wear and tear that develops later on

Looks good. Just watch out - where you have the BlackBox mounted, it looks like it will be exposed to a lot of cutting dust/chips (even with good extraction, there is always some that get past the dust boot)

Will the OpenBuild backlash nut thread onto a Acme screw Tr8*4(p2)?
Is it true they are real Delrin?

Our screws 8mm Metric Acme Lead Screw are "TR8*8-2p (4 starts)"
which is a 4-start screw, with 4x8mm helixes (intertwined you'd see a thread every 2mm)
They are proper precision machined Delrin, not injected molded ABS like the knockoffs

Our screws has a couple custom tweaks too so, it might really be worth swopping the screws too for best fit, with a 3rd party screw it might not feel as good as it can... And screws are cheap. Better than mixing offbrand with the good stuff.
