Animated Limit switch prototype

    HI
    I see that some people use a bicolor led to show the limit switch state... I think that's cool!!!, but just a change in the color is not enough so I wonder it is too much to use a dedicated micro like an Attiny for each axis to animate the led on the normal state?

    Of course the animation can be anything, like a breathing pattern, or a shaking candle like etc...

    in the circuit I only need 1 micro to animate the 2 leds for each limit end, I will use a little aluminum box with acrylic caps and telephone flat cable to protect the inside chip and give a more elegant presentation... so the micro will see the 2 axis sensors and give 1 output to the main CNC micro...
