Just assembled an ACRO 1010 kit with a BlackBox controller. Both axes move smoothly but too much. When instructed to move one inch, both axes move a little more than four inches. How do I fix this?
Calibrate steps per mm. Using Grbl settings tab ($100-101) and then fine tune using Calibration wizards under Wizards and Tools
Gee I’m kind of surprised that moves would be off so much in a newly assembled machine. I did use the control software to tell the black box that I have an ACRO system. Is it possible that the problem is more fundamental like microstepping is not properly configured because the moves are too large by a factor of 4?
Perhaps it didn't Save (button on top toolbar) as mentioned above, start on the Grbl Settings tab and check the steps per mm.
