Hi All, I am looking to upgrade my current 1050x1050 build however, I am considering buying a 2nd Nema 23 +16mm ball screw etc for the X axis. As there are no further ports on my Blackbox (as for the Y axis) is it possible? If so, how can it be wired and would my 24v workbee PSU be suitable. Thanks in advance.
You can wire motors in parallel Just check on that 16mm ballscrew idea - big heavy ballscrew (more enertia, slower acceleration) usually has 5mm pitch (less than our 8mm pitch leadscrew = 5/8th the maximum speed)
