Maybe a "dumb" question in the gbrl settings on open builds control wit these settings is that a "max" speed that it will travel when cutting no matter what you set speed for in fusion? EX if my $110 and $111 are set to 1000mm/min but i set fusion to 2500mm/min it will only go 1000? Im using a black box with 269oz nema 24 if that matters (2 motors on y axis and 1 on the x). Thanks
Correct, that is the safe max speed (so even if feedrate is higher it will never exceed this speed) That value is tuned to prevent stalls, the machine has a physical limit at which the motors stall For more, see gnea/grbl
Thanks, Any idea with a black box, 24v psu, and 269oz 2.8a could push as a max? im using 1605 ball screws
That's an unknown - we use TR8*2s. Even if we did use them, no two machines are the same. Play with it. If you set it too high, you'll see it stall on a long test move. Dial it in with trial and error
