A) Nope...not there. B) Sure...I'm curious. Regardless, the "G20" "G90" should be added to the header.
Those are both mm. Does the inch version add the G20? The units and motion mode should always be included.
Thanks guys, I was mostly curious about the component values for the noise filtering.
So, IS there a schematic available for these switches?
I think we're interpreting things differently: Example: G0 M3 S1000 will not turn on the laser, but will set the laser modal state to M3enabled...
"The laser will only turn on when Grbl is in a G1, G2, or G3 motion mode."
Same line shouldn't matter... It's the G1 that matters. The laser will only turn on when Grbl is in a G1, G2, or G3 motion mode.
I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to imply that you didn't read the wiki... Just trying to help. Did you just try "G1 M3 S255"? Did you get an OK response?
Are you trying to cut/engrave something or just turning the laser on and off? The laser should only be activated on a speed controlled move. That...
No problem... Glad you're up and running! By the way, I've enjoyed using Chilipeppr as a controller and recently I've been trying CNC (needs a...
A thought...sorry I didn't mention it before. Are your steps per mm set correctly? If you tell the machine to jog 100mm to the left, does it...
Wait until you start your first fire with your machine, then get it changed.
Your work zero can be set anywhere. You Gcode had everything in the +X+Y which means your origin was set (in the design) at the lower left....
My GRBL workflow: 1. Home machine (top right) 2. Jog to my desired work zero (usually lower left or center of workpiece) 3. G10 L20 P0 X0Y0 (sets...
Do you have your homing Is your home position set to upper right? All of your gCode is moving to the +X,+Y part of the work surface, so your...
The G54 values show your work coordinate offsets. They should not be zero if you changed your work zero. Can you share your Gcode?
Hmmm, but it goes back to home switches when you send it to your new zero? Maybe you're mixing work coordinate systems?
When you reset zero, does UGS show you are at zero? Also, does UGS send a G92 or a G10 web seeing zero?
What happens if you set your zero, home the machine, and then send to your zero (G0X0Y0)?
How are you seeing your work zero?
