Looks like control is still using node version 12?
Should I be building with the latest v12 node?
Ok. Thanks so much Peter. I'll look into those.
After troubleshooting today I've come to the following conclusions:
- I don't see a difference between 25' and OEM (5') USB cables.
Is there a way to troubleshoot cables, laptops outside of openbuilds control?
Whatever is going on seems to be intermittent.
The above happens with both short and long cables.
After 5 minutes of it spewing "ok", it displays this:
It was working for 20 minutes, then this:
After swapping back and forth between the short and long cables, it seems to be working at the moment (with either cable).
As I suspected, using a shorter cable (the ~5' one that came with the bb) did not fix the problem.
Also I seem to be stuck in the upgrade infinite...
There's 1 25' cable between the pc and the bb. Nothing else.
I just updated to v1.0.284, and of course this problem has resurfaced:

What error are you getting?

Ah, I had that setup on the previous computer I was using.

I'm not sure what version of openbuilds control I'm on.
In the title bar, it says v1.0.276, however I've updated to v280 (several times) today.
When you say "MACRO", what does this mean? Where would this macro be defined? (I've never used or heard of a macro before in the CAM/post...
Thank you very much David the swarfer and Rob Taylor!
I've got it doing what I need now using G54 and G55 like you recommended.
