When i have time or feel inspired i like to work with leather. It feels similar to working with wood as you can take a raw piece and shaped at will.

For this i dont have a special workshop so as im sure many of you do i use the dinning table, but theres a point where the wife just go nuts and tells me to move away....

Enter the reason for this project. This tray will serve me as an easy way to move from one place to the other with ease.

The logic of this tray is the following:
A tray to place most used tools and small bottle of dye, glue, etc. , and a shelf at the back to place less used tools. Now this shelf is hold by 2 vertical pieces that are slotted into pockets. The idea is to make it modular. Let say in the future i want another shelf that either i would make taller pieces or just stack them on top of the other with dowels.

Not sure how many out there could be in the same situation but this could inspire other for similar use.

Inspired indeed - I know you worked this up for a leather work station but I am seeing this for I am already seeing this to replace my current glue/cutting station on in the lab.
Nice work on the modular nature of the unit using dowels. Thanks for the share brother!
