Mrs.CNC_Whittler and myself have a lot of great neighbors. We are blessed that way for sure. Recently, one of those neighbors swung by and asked me if I could make a display Plaque for an "Old school" night stick that had been custom made by a fellow LEO for his Wife after a recent event in her work life. I say "event" but, it's more like a nightmare if you ask me...

I jumped at the opportunity. She and her Hubs are great neighbors, she's a sweet lady and undeniably; one ballsy chick!
There's only a few professions where risking your life is a daily part of your job description. That's a hell of a thing when you think about it.
Anyways, it was really cool to do a project for someone so deserving and we're proud to know them both.

Her name may ring a bell with you if you live in the states and watch the news. She saved a lot of people from serious injury that were running a 10K Marathon going over the Skyway Bridge in St. Petersburg, FL. The bridge was closed to traffic at the time and a drunk driver blew through the barricades and ran from Troopers trying to stop her. Toni was the last line of defense for the runners:
