What better way to present the gift of wine than with a wine bottle holder! I thought I'd design and make this Wine Bottle Holder project as part of our Free Vectric 12 Days of Christmas Projects. This is a very simple part to create that just contains 2D toolpaths for the cut out and a VCarve toolpath for the personalised initials! My version was cut out of European Oak!

I created a video for this project here:

I have attached a zip file which includes two sets of files to make this super easy to machine. The first set
contains the vectors and toolpath information ready for you to output the toolpaths, for this option, you will need
to either own Vectric software or download the FREE trial software, where you will be able to output the gcode
for this project. You can download the Trial software here. The second set includes the vectors for you to use in your own CAD/CAM software package.

    Happy Making

NB: If you plan to cut this project please ensure that you recalculate all toolpaths using settings that are safe and appropriate for your machine, the tools you have and the material you are using.

Next time apply masking tape over the area that you are engraving before you engrave it. and spray it with some rattle can clear coat or brush in some mod podge sealer after it's been engraved. When you go to do the paint infill it won't blead into the grain. Oak is notorious for bleading because of the open grain structure of the wood
