My CONTROL installation doesn't seem to be checking for updates. I'm on 1.0.234 but I think it goes back a version or two before that. Things that might be different about my installation: my 3D Viewer is disabled (no WebGL support), and I custom flashed the GRBL firmware with door interlock support. Any ideas? Thanks.

Just out of curiosity brrian , are you running on the Win or linux version?

And Peter: Both of us - the only two cases I've seen reported - were running custom firmware. It seems a little improbable, but is there any chance that's playing a role?

(when you've eliminated the impossible, whatever remains - no matter how improbable - is probably just a red herring)

Ok, Peter - I guess that knocks out the "linux problem" hypothesis, for better or not-better.

My money's on most people just not noticing. Otherwise I'm puzzled why it only seems to be the two of us who've run into it.

(I'm known to have rare, stupid, and generally unlikely problems, sure... but two of us? I hope I'm not contagious...)

Not just you two. I've had the same issue on at one machine. Just checked a second machine that I rarely use Control on. It was running .215. It did prompt me to upgrade to .235. My primary Control machine wasn't updating. Manually downloaded and updated, but I can't tell you what version I was on as I didn't realize it was a potention issue at the time. (Figured it was just a fluke)
