    Hi,

I am trying to figure out which "type of cut" to use for my project. I simply want to operate a gantry system and have it move around based on the Gcode I create (so no "cuts" at all, just movement). I was thinking of using the "pen plotter" type of cut because I am assuming it just moves around, given the Gcode? If not, suggestions on what to use to operate a gantry system will be helpful.

The "pen plotter" ops deal mostly with moving the servo up and down.

I'd say use the CNC Vector cut operations, use an endmill diameter of 0 if you want to not have any offset.
