Hi. So I'm building a 3d printer based on rat rig v-core v2 500x500x500mm core xy build volume with bed frame 529x529mm and 4mm aluminium bed. Now i need something to put on bed but i can't find something good and i need some help from you guys.

    Buildtak is expensive like hell.
I can't find borosilicate glass in my Country in that size.
I found a glossy carbon plate but its around 250 euro.
I thought about prima creator flex plate 510x510 with a thin pei sheet but I'm worry about durability of pei sheets.

I'm building something similar and I'll be using a piece of tempered glass. I use one on a printer that has a 400x400mm printer now and it works great.

Sorry but seen to many broken tempered glass beds. But actually i found a robax/neoceram glass for firepits and i think this would be great. Its pretty cheap for 529mm x 529mm x 4mm plate.

If you are breaking tempered glass, you are doing something horribly wrong.

Tempered glass is breaking when you heating it to fast and i want a ~1500W 230V bed heater so its a little risky.
