I started with the referenced file and over on the left edge there are sketches for the 4 plates. I copied those individually to new .skp files. Copy & Paste... So far, so good.

I don't have enough Y axis on my CNC Mill to cut the 2 gantry plates. No big deal, I just used Sketchup & Sketchucam to drill the holes. I'll cut the profile some other way. In other words, I didn't have to cut the profile for these plates.

The two smaller plates are a problem for me. There is a button I'm not pushing in Sketchup because I can get Sketchucam to draw in the outer orange line for the outside cut but the background color of the cut itself doesn't change and no gcode is emitted for the profile.

I have uploaded Plate_3.skp and I hope somebody can tell my exactly which button to push.

I am aware there are .dxf files available but they are not in a format that I can use on a mill. I would have to break out each plate, create a new file and so on. Autodesk QuickCAD 8 and/or CamBam don't seem to think much of that kind of thing. Besides, I'm trying to learn something about SketchUp and Sketchucam...

    Thanks!

Yes, the component has been exploded and is fully inside the safe area. I do get gcode for the inside cuts (holes), it's just the outside that seems to be a problem. Even then, I get the orange outer border but the background in the cut area doesn't change color.

There is also an updated version of the SketchUp plates, some hole spacing being adjusted a bit more and a taller front X plate for those wanting a fourth set of wheels to hold the Z nice and steady/firm.
