    I've just put together my OpenBuilds MiniMill and having trouble jogging any of the stepper motors. I purchased all products from OpenBuildsPartsStore: Nema 23 motors, Blackbox, and Meanwell 24v power supply.

    - Wired the motors according to the setup instructions:
    * A+ = Red
    * A- = Blue
    * B+ = Green
    * B- = Yellow
    - Installed the FTDI drivers and OB Control
    - Connected Windows machine to the Blackbox via USB
    - Chose the MiniMill profile predefined in OB Control and selected Reset
    - Verified that $4=1
    - Tried to move axis X, Y, and Z - all attempts made no sound (grinding or otherwise), no led on the Blackbox, and no movement

    Any thoughts?

    Is the 110/220 switch set to correct voltage for your country?

    Jeff, the voltage setting on the Meanwell power supply is set to 115V (for US).

    - So, incorrectly wired motors usually result in vibration/stuttering/at least some kind of noise from the motor, so if its dead silent we can eliminate that off the bat
    - PSU Mains voltage selector was a great question @jeffmorris ! When the PSU is set to the wrong zone, it doesn't power on. That said, although your switch is on 115v, did you validate the PSU output? (Measure output at terminal going into BlackBox - is it 24v?)
    - Checked the Fuse?
    - I know I know, you're not that stupid :) lets just tick it off for the sake of elimination, but the Power Switch on the BlackBox is on too? (USB lighting things up too, might make you think its on. When the power switch is on, the fan spins up and the logo backlight turns on too)
    - Any clues in the log during the jog (Grbl will refuse to jog if its in alarm state, locked, pending homing if homing is enabled, etc)
    -- further to the point above, turn off Homing, turn off Hard Limits, hit the Abort/Stop button top right in control (it flushes queues, sends reset, and then unlocks any alarms, etc) then try again

    Peter, I'm perfectly willing to accept stupidity as a starting point :)

    Here are my latest troubleshooting steps:
    - Blackbox lid is opened
    - Blackbox fan disconnected
    - Blackbox PSU is only connection - all others have been removed (including effector led inline with PSU input)
    - Power on PSU with voltage set to 115V
    - PSU OpenBuilds gear icon is illuminated
    - PSU power switch is illuminated
    - Power on Blackbox
    - PSU led OpenBuilds gear icon starts flashing approx 1/sec
    - Blackbox power is showing 24V
    - Fuse pops within 5 seconds of powering on Blackbox

    I've gone through half a dozen fuses while slowly removing connections to the Blackbox. I'm down to no connections and still blowing fuses.

    Thoughts?
