This may be a really dumb question but what thickness MDF do you guys in the uk use? Over here it's either 18mm or 25mm, on the build it says 19mm.

Now is it a case of get 25mm and fly cut it down to size which seems like a lot of waste or use 18mm and the 1mm difference doesn't matter?

As i say this could be a really simple dumb thing I'm missing here or theres a supplier I cannot find.

    Thanks in advance

    Danny

It really doesn't matter @DannyDog - I have an 18mm spoiler board, but as most of the stuff I do is really thin I have another board on top of that which I attach hold downs and other fixtures to. The top board gradually gets thinner as I surface it. The top board is whatever offcuts of mdf I happen to have lying around.
    Alex.
PS, because it's mdf and will absorb moisture 18mm will probably be at least 19mm anyway. :)

@Alex Chambers is invaluable @DannyDog we muddled our way through our builds and now look at him (a Master no less) lol
I just cut things, he wants to know why it cuts things...that's the difference
Seriously, Alex will never you down he was always there when I had a problem, any time of the day.
    Regards
