Hi @ian McFadden, I would be grateful if you could cast an eye over the attached Fusion post processor and tell me if I have correctly incorporated your wcs changes (with some modification for the new beta 3 firmware and Duet Web Control-2 from Ooznest - I have allowed up to 6 workplace offsets as we are now using G53 as absolute[machine] co-ordinates).
    Alex.:):)

PS that worked fine with one wcs (once I had learned how to use multiple wcs in Fusion).
    Alex.
Also worked fine with two work offsets - because I'm using a modified version of my toolchange post processor it puts macro calls between each toolpath so it should be simple to write those to make sure there is a clear path around any fixtures at each wcs change.
    Alex.

I have adjusted the theming really slightly to make see if that helps. The tone of the colours has gone down one on the scale.

Thanks @Ryan Lock, I'll give that a try.
Multiple work offsets is looking really good now Geoff and I have stopped making stupid mistakes.

Now that we have G53 I am going to re-write my toolchange macros - they just move to defined position and waited for user input.

Good stuff Ryan. By the way, I was discussing with Alex a few days ago about the general problem of operating the browser with a mouse or keypad whilst watching the machine, particularly when Jogging, we said that we had both had accidentally hit the wrong button when maybe the cursor drifts a bit, and you are watching the machine more than the browser screen.
This might, of course be related to our great age, mine being the greatest unfortunately:(, but Alex suggested that keyboard shortcuts would be good particularly for jogging; I'd agree with that, and then maybe a programmable keypad could be added?

On a few occasions I've drifted onto the buttons surrounding the jog buttons whilst jogging particularly the big "Goto Work Zero", and others which can cause severe loss of composure .

Anyway just a few thoughts for the future, but really liking your WorkBee DWC :thumbsup:- Geoff

Full credit here must go to @GeoffH who showed me how to add macro calls to the post processor, and @ian McFadden who added multiple work offsets to the Fusion/Duet post processor. I wouldn't know where to start without their help.

Ryan, this Wireless UGS Pendant is the sort of thing I had in mind, a USB wired Jelly Comb is less than a tenner, but isn't programmable - Geoff

This is probably the most requested feature we have on our list. So after the initial release it will be the first thing i am adding.

For a physical pendant that would be something i will have to work closely with Duet3D to make work, we have spoke about, and at the stage where we have decided on the most popular pendants that can be bought, now we just need to make them compatible. In the meantime i think i might try and add a virtual pendant in the web control.

For what you linked about, once i introduce keyboard mapping, i think using that would be possible.

Hi @Ryan Lock, since the "go to work zero" button is so big how about shrinking it to make space for buttons the user can link to system files. I guess the buttons might have to be linked to "pre-named" files that the user could then write themselves?

Yes Alex, I guess that you would need some text on these buttons, so that could come from "settings", together with the corresponding macro name.
In any event, I would welcome reducing the size of the "Goto Work Zero" button, or maybe moving it onto the drop-down above the jog controls, which Ryan said will contain the Probing options.

By the way, in my workzero.g I've made the final Z move down (normally to Z0) optional with M291 etc, just in case I have written a program where Z0 is at the bottom of the material, something I have done only a few times.

By default in Vcarve, I have a home position with a 10mm clearance above the material top (which is Z0), so I move to Z10 in any case in workzero.g

    - Geoff (Journeyman today, not sure whether I have been promoted or demoted?;))

We have all been demoted @GeoffH. Not sure why, but there appear to be no masters around anymore. Have to say (since it happened over a week ago) you appear to share my disinterest in the whole "status" thing.

Oh yes, I see you're a Veteran now, presumably a bit of dodgy code, that the kids might call AI nowadays, either way it doesn't appear to work too well - "am I bovvered"? Geoff (Grumpy Old Man)

Thanks for the suggestion, i need to get the current release finished, so i will leave it as is at the moment, but i can definitely re-work that aspect. Yes the button's would have to be linked to pre-named files. But there is always the macro tab for other buttons.

Hi @Ryan Lock, I have been using ncviewer.com recently to do Toolpath simulation at the Machine; it sits next to the DWC Tab in my Browser, looks a polished professional application and I find that it does a very nice job for me.
It's also linked with Fusion 360, although I haven't tried that and I'm not sure why you would need it in the CAM system, but I think it's very useful by the Machine, often to double check that I'm about to run the correct program. I don't intend to run my CAM system by the Machine.
Maybe there is a possibility in the future to integrate NC Viewer with the Workbee DWC which could make it a bit slicker, for example file loading and WCS??
That said, it's only a suggestion for future consideration and I'm hearing what you say about a 1.07 release before anything else

Hi @GeoffH, is that an online only viewer?

Alex, in the notes it says
    "- Offline Mode
No installation! NC Viewer is automatically
cached by your browser and will load offline!"

I just tested it and it works offline - Geoff

I'll have to experiment to see if I can get that to work on my setup - don't have Internet on the machine I use with my workbee.
    Thanks, Alex.

You will have to get online at some stage, so that your Browser can cache the content. Then you can work offline with it. Geoff

I've tried a lot of these programs, this is by far the best for me. It seems that the coder works as a web developer for Autodesk which explains why it's linked to Fusion I guess. Geoff

I agree a g-code viewer would be awesome! A g-code viewer is something soon come to DWC, i believe the original web control programmer is adding it in, if not i will see if i can add it myself :)

Nice one Ryan, looking great, do you plan to leave the Height Mapping / Compensation stuff in the Workbee DWC? Geoff

Thanks, they should all work, Friday evening i had to quickly take them down for a few minutes as a small bug someone on the Facebook group made me aware of had to be fixed.

Thanks, yes i do plan to keep it, as i know some people use it for PCB Milling. I also plan to make a guide on using it, now we have our own touch probe.

Some possibility that the workbee firmware will be updated, to include the latest version of DWC 3.2
This version includes support for plugins, and there are already plugins to control with a gamepad the jog, Also, to display paths and others.
