So started a little project earlier today
Got called away for a couple minutes (just 2-3)
Heard some spine chilling sounds, rushed inside, and found this

As you can see, we went a little off path (skipped belt/stretch) and it got stuck in there, sat in one spot spinning: Basically the high tech version of:




So, think twice before walking away for those long jobs kids (; and keep a fire extinguisher on hand
Oh, and you all should stop (not really) buying all the BlackBox'es (; they go out of stock before I can get some lol! - this one isnt running one yet

 

Luckily there is still a shop to start over in (;
But yeah, so much material wasted (that OX has been reaching the end of its useful life for a while now) and lack of spare time (either to rebuild machine, but also to revisit project - the hour or two a week I get - means wasted cuts are the worst)

Been promising my 9yo for months I'll make her one, but with the 4month old, spare time to work on it is scarce!

 

Took some time out this Weekend and, well, two years and two house-moves, later my, now 11 year old and 2.5 year old, finally gets to play some old school Arcade games

Well, maybe in another 2 years I'll add the final finishing touch of a banner behind some clear acrylic in that opening at the top (;
