    Nice build! Mine is the 1010 but, like you I intend to mount the spoiler board at the lower position. If I think I need a bit more rigidity for finer work I will build up the spoiler board.

    No need to fiddle with the speed settings. Its okay that it outputs spindle speed even though you have a router. All of my fusion post have it but like you I manually control it with the dial on the router. That is until I get my SuperPID hooked up.

    I'll be interested to see how well that baby lead screw works on the Y axis. I think you'll get a lot of whip. You can see it sagging just sitting there.

    Great looking build. I have a workbee 1510 and I hate the belt drive and have been considering upgrading to lead screw on the 1500mm axis. Can you tell me what parts you had to buy from OB to completely convert to lead screw?

    Hi, I didn't buy the parts from Open Builds. If you search for SPAM 3D on ebay or Ali-express and find the 1510 screw driven Workbee, it should have a parts list, which you can then figure out the parts you need to order from OB, ebay, or wherever. I think basically you are going to need two 1500mm acme screws, the spring connectors to attach the screws to the acme screw (just like on your Z axis) and the plastic pieces that move the gantry on the acme screw. A lot of people say you will have problems with lashback with an acme screw that long, but I haven't. I have mostly been milling foam, MDF, and a little UHMW plastic, so maybe if I were milling aluminum I would notice. It is long to the point that it droops in the middle, but I have yet to have any issues. I have run the machine sporadically for maybe a total of 20 or 30 hours.
