Hey guys, almost ready to put my electronics together. I only have one problem right now. I am trying to figure out the limit switch configuration using the Protoneer Raspberry Pi CNC V2.6

    - Can I use 2 limit switch, or just 1 per axis? If I can use 2, in serie or parallel?

-V2.60 does not have a GND with the Limit switch connector, can I use any other GND? I read on Protoneer Forum to use the coolant GND.

    Thanks

without some tricks, the protoneer likes normally open limits. in this case if you put 2 on 1 axis, you want them in parallel. if they were in series, they would both have to "make" to indicate limit reached.

if you wire for normally closed limits, then you would wire in series. if any 1 limit "unmakes", then the correct indication is given.

don't know about the gnd points, I only have a 2.58 board. but a 2.6 should arrive any day now :)

Thanks Calvin, it confirms what I thought. I read on the wiki page they were supposed to be "NO" but not much more on the configuration.
