hi, i'm looking for help on sphinx build, i just hooked up new x- pro board w/ external drivers, and have x axis going one direction the only axis working properly is z. tested all axis using z control wires and all stepper drivers worked ok y axis also does not work at all, but worked with z control wiring. i would like to get x axis working first then figure out y, as i still did not figure out solder jumper for y and a to work together as they seam to have continuty between them now thank you i am using ox grbl settings and grbl panel. Have checked all wires from board all seem ok all lights on board seem to be working ok and grbl panel shows axis are working when there not moving? hoping to get machine running thank you freon12

    Sounds like a wiring issue.
Curious why using an xPro (with external drivers) when a cheap Arduino UNO and screw shield are more convenient and 1/10 the cost?
    Been seeing this often lately.
    Cheers

so if it only goes one direction then the obvious thing to look at is the direction pin connection to the driver.

the direction pin will be 0v for one direction and 5v for the other direction (or values very close to those).

the entire Arduino is 5v TTL logic. Google '5v TTL logic' if you dont know what it is (-:
